Introduction
Nishant Rajeev’s research focuses on Indian national security, foreign policy and technology policy. Prior to his current role, he was a Senior Analyst at the South Asia Programme in the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University where his research focused on the geopolitics of the Indo-Pacific region. He was also previously a Research Analyst at ISAS and worked at a public affairs firm in India.
Nishant is the co-editor of Momentous Changes: Defence Reforms, Military Transformation, and India’s New Strategic Posture (Observer Research Foundation, 2023) and co-author of the report, ’India’s Tryst with 5G Technology: Debates, Decisions and Developments over Huawei’ (ISAS, 2023), among several other reports. His commentaries have appeared in the Hindustan Times, The Hindu and The Diplomat, among other think tank websites.
Nishant earned his Master of Science (Strategic Studies) from RSIS and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the RNS Institute of Technology, India.
