    Mriganika Singh Tanwar

    Introduction

    Mriganika Singh Tanwar holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Mumbai, India. Her academic interests lie at the intersection between rising power theories, multilateralism, and security in the Indo-Pacific region. Her research focuses on foreign policy behaviour and status transitions of rising powers in the international order, with special emphasis on India’s role in strategic partnerships and Asian security and governance architecture.

    Mriganika has previously contributed her research work for Observer Research Foundation, India; Warner Bros. Discovery, India; and Poli-ticking Me Off, India. She was selected for the 2024 UNITAR Leaders for Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP): Sea and Human Security Training for Asia and Pacific Islands Countries programme, supported by the Government and People of Japan.

    Prior to her appointment at ISAS, Mriganika worked at S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University, conducting comprehensive research on domestic and transnational legal risks and opportunities for foreign businesses in China.
