Kanika Kaur graduated with a Master’s in International Affairs from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, specializing in International Security. Proficient in qualitative and quantitative analysis using R and Python, she brings a unique perspective to foreign policy and public policy. Her interest lies broadly in Indian foreign policy and more specifically at the intersection of security studies and feminist foreign policy in South Asia.
Prior to her appointment at ISAS, Kanika worked at the Chandler Institute of Governance as an Associate in Strategy and Communications. She collaborated with government practitioners to create new knowledge products; synthesizing insights related to governance. She also previously worked with the Centre on Asia and Globalization on the project “Partnership or Polarization: Southeast Asian Security between India and China.” Her research work, “India’s Economic Quandary with China,” was published in the China-India Brief.
