    Harsh Mahaseth

    Introduction

    Associate Professor Harsh Mahaseth is an Academic Visitor at the Institute of South Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore. He is currently an Associate Professor at Jindal Global Law School and serves as Associate Director of the Nehginpao Kipgen Center for Southeast Asian Studies and Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution at O.P. Jindal Global University, India. He is also a visiting faculty at NALSAR University of Law and has previously served as Assistant Dean at O.P. Jindal Global University, in addition to teaching as visiting faculty at Mahindra University. Recognised among the top-cited international law scholars in India by the Indian Blog of International Law, he specialises in International Law with a particular focus on Asian Legal Studies across South and Southeast Asia.

    A prolific scholar, Associate Professor Mahaseth has authored over 60 peer-reviewed international journal articles and more than 175 publications in leading newspapers, magazines and academic blogs. His contributions have been recognized through honours such as the Award for Research Excellence, the Best Research Scholar Award and the Emerging Scholar Award. He has designed and taught courses and workshops at universities across Asia, introducing innovative offerings including ‘Asian Regional Organisations and their Interplay with the Law’, ‘ASEAN Law, Policy and Governance’, ‘The Art of Legal Writing’, and specialised editorial and career-focused workshops. He also serves on editorial committees of several academic journals and blogs.
