The meeting between IndiaÔÇÖs Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the United States (US) President Donald Trump in Washington on 26 June 2017 was not followed by any major announcements in such areas as defence, civil nuclear energy, trade and greater Indian access to the American job market. However, the outcome of the visit will still be of considerable interest to both China and Pakistan. The focus now shifts to how the China-Pakistan factor may shape the US-India equation.
