Dr Li Li is currently a Senior Research Professor and Deputy Director of the Institute for International Relations, Tsinghua University, China. She also serves as Deputy Secretary-General of World Peace Forum and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Quarterly Journal of International Politics (Chinese version).
Prior to joining Tsinghua in April 2018, she worked as a Deputy Director and a Senior Fellow at the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR). She received her doctorate degree in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University of India in January 2008.
Dr Li is the author of Security Perception and China-India Relations (New Delhi: KW Publishers, 2009). She has contributed essays to books and reports such as The Island of the Lion and the Land of the Dragon: Essays on Sri Lanka-China Relations (Colombo: Pathfinder Foundation, 2017); India and China in the Emerging Dynamics of East Asia (New Delhi: Springer, 2015); and Crux of Asia (Washington: Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, 2013). Her research has also been published in scholarly journals in Chinese and English language.
