    ISAS Traineeship (Outreach)

     

    ISAS offers executive and administrative traineeships (outreach) to students who are keen on events management, social media initiatives, partnership development and media relations with a focus on South Asia. While helping to develop their administrative skills, the appointment also fits well into ISAS’ educational role of nurturing students to develop greater awareness and understanding of the region. The traineeship will also serve as a testing ground for potential appointments at the Institute.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    • Assist in coordinating and organising events
    • Work on social media outreach efforts
    • Develop partnerships for ISAS
    • Identify media platforms and opportunities for ISAS
    • Participate in meetings and discussions
    • Assist in any other ad hoc duties as assigned

     

    Requirements:

     

    • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
    • Have not started any SGUnited Traineeship attachment previously
    • Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 to 2021 (both years inclusive) or Graduated earlier and completed National Service between 2019 to 2021 (both years inclusive)
    • Have a deep interest in South Asia, preferably with a foundation in tertiary-level course(s) on South Asia
    • Demonstrate an interest in South Asia, as shown through participation in events, lectures, ad-hoc school programmes or activities relating to the region

     

    Commitment:

     

    Trainees should be able to commit full time for six months.

     

    Selection:

     

    The selection round may include an interview by the Director, Deputy Director, Associate Director and/or researcher of the Institute.
