Harpreet Kaur manages ISAS’ publications and social media, including podcasts.
Harpreet has nine years of work experience in editorial and marketing in the private sector, including about seven years as an English and Punjabi language teacher. She has experience in content management for website and social media platforms and transcription work. She previously worked at the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and industry (SICCI) and assisted in the rebranding of its Business Development Centre. At SICCI, her role included marketing government grants and events management.
Harpreet is actively involved in the Singapore Sikh community. She has volunteered in community projects with the Singapore Khalsa Association, Young Sikh Association (Singapore) and Singapore Sikh Education Foundation (SSEF). At the SSEF, she volunteered as a Punjabi language teacher for five years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she conducted online classes for local and international Punjabi students, including financial literacy training for under-privileged children. She is a competent translator in English and Punjabi. She has provided translation services to local and international companies and the Singapore subordinate Courts. She has participated in oral history trainings at the Oral History Centre, National Archives of Singapore.
Harpreet graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia.
